Is it endangered?: No, it is not

What are its predators?: Natural predator of pigeon are monitor lizards, hawks, and human

Pigeons, scientifically known as Columba livia, are small rounded birds with gray feathers. They are closely related to doves and pheasants.

Pigeons are commonly found in large cities, where they can sometimes become pests.

Like other birds, they move by flying, although they are not able to soar due to their less muscular bodies.

Their natural diet consists of seeds, but due to their proximity to humans, they often feed on leftover human food.

Although not endangered, pigeons are frequently hunted by humans. Additionally, they serve as a food source for monitor lizards and hawks.
