3. Past Perfect Tense
Perlu diketahui rumusnya yaitu Subject (S) + had + Verb 3 (V3). Past perfect tense ini digunakan untuk menyatakan peristiwa yang terjadi sebelum waktu tertentu di masa lalu.
- The son had slept before his father came.
- The son had not slept before his father came.
- Had the son slept before his father came?
4. Simple Future Tense
Jenis tense ini memiliki rumus Subject (S) + Will/be going to + Verb 1 (V1). Tense ini digunakan untuk menceritakan suatu peristiwa yang akan terjadi di masa depan.
- They will invite us tomorrow.
- They will not invite us tomorrow.
- Will they invite us tomorrow?
5. Future Perfect Tense
Kali ini rumusnya Subject (S) + Will have + Verb 3 (V3). Jenis ini digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu aksi yang akan dilakukan serta diselesaikan di waktu tertentu di masa depan.
- I will have gone to America by tomorrow.
- I will not have gone to America by tomorrow.
- Will she have gone to America by tomorrow?
